KENMORE WATER SOFTENERS,
DRINKING WATER FILTRATION AND
SPECIALTY FILTRATION SYSTEMS

How the product works and troubleshooting info with a colorful, interactive animation...

Water is one of the key resources within the home. Not all filtration processes and products are the same. It’s important to understand the difference in order to purchase the right product to meet your needs.

Kenmore Water Softeners

Water hardness is America's #1 water problem and is found in 85% of homes! Kenmore offers a complete line of water softeners to eliminate hard water problems in your home. Kenmore water softeners feature state-of-the-art demand technology which will save water, salt and money.

Kenmore Drinking Water Systems

Kenmore offers two types of drinking water filtration, designed to meet a variety of drinking water needs.

Carbon Filtration
Carbon filtration removes unpleasant tastes and odors such as chlorine from the water. Additionally, carbon filtration systems can reduce sediment, lead and cysts. Carbon filtration systems require cartridge filters be replaced every six months.

Reverse Osmosis Filtration
For families concerned about the chlorine taste and odors in their water, as well as the presence of potentially harmful contaminants, a reverse osmosis system is a great recommendation. The reverse osmosis system uses both carbon filtration (pre and post filters) and a reverse osmosis membrane to dramatically improve the taste, odor and quality of the water. Reverse osmosis systems require pre and post filter changes approximately every six months and membrane changes between one and five years, depending on the quality of the water.

The Whole Home System Approach

Combine a Kenmore water softener with a drinking water system and improve both the “working” water and drinking water throughout your home!
  • Water softeners improve the quality of the “working” water, the water used for bathing, cleaning, laundry and washing dishes.
  • Drinking water systems improve the quality and taste of the water used for drinking, cooking and beverage making.

By combining a water softener with a drinking water system, you can take care of all your water needs.

Kenmore Specialty Equipment

If you have additional water problems which cannot be corrected with a water softener alone. The first step in determining an effective solution is to test your water with Sears In-Store Water Analysis Test.
